PINK FLOYD - BOSTON 1975

PINK FLOYD
Boston 1975 [Dan Lampinski Recording, 2CD]
Live at the Boston Garden, Boston, MA, June 18, 1975. Very good audience recording.
Recently, a number of new Dan Lampinski live recordings were shared freely on the internet. Apart from being lossless and high quality tracks (these were offered as both 16-bit/44.1 KHz and 24-bit/96 KHz files), they are also highly regarded for being very good concert recordings. While these Lampinski shows are a boon for the fans, bootleggers too have taken advantage of them and cashed in by selling them as silver discs.
While this Boston show has circulated before, those who have heard the show previously would be impressed by the clarity here and it’s certainly worth having as part of your Pink Floyd collection. And it’s practically two albums on one show - Wish You Were Here and Dark Side Of The Moon; plus a 21-minute Echoes. Dave Gilmour’s lead sparkles on Shine On You Crazy Diamond and for those who enjoyed the sax on Dark Side, you’ll thrill to it here.
Thanks to djscomics for sharing the lossless tracks on the Dime site. Above all, thanks to Dan, Carl Morstadt (who mastered the tracks), Kev and the rest of the Lampinski crew.
