Germany 2012 [no label, 2CD]

Disc 1: Live at the Junges Theater, Goettingen, Germany; September 15, 2012. Disc 2: Live at the SWR3 New Pop Festival, Kurhaus, Baden Baden, Germany; September 14, 2012. Excellent radio broadcasts.

One doesn’t need more than one to two spins to see how infectious British singer-songwriter’s Give Me Love Is. And he does have a few more where that came from. Sheeran already has hit singles with The A Team and Lego House; his 2011 debut studio album, + [plus], is well received by both fans and critics, and he co-wrote and dueted with Taylor Swift on Everything Has Changed, a track found on Swift’s Red album. From March to September 2013, Sheeran is scheduled to play 58 dates across North America as the opening act for Swift’s Red Tour. All in, things are looking swimmingly well for Sheeran. And how many 21-year-old artistes would cover Nina Simone?
