Not satisfied, The Swingin’ Pig went and remastered the Get Your Leeds Lungs Out bootleg to issue a second pressing. Many others have since tried mastering these tapes, but here is that first attempt.

THE ROLLING STONES
Get Your Leeds Lungs Out: Revisited [The Swingin' Pig TSP-CD-215, 1CD]

Live at the University of Leeds, UK, March 13, 1971. Ex mono soundboard. This remaster by Swingin’ Pig states “20 bit digital mastering from the original analog master”.

This Leeds show is as is with no studio edits. It was part of a short UK tour where the Stones announced on their first night out that they would henceforth become tax exiles and live outside the UK. According to the wikipedia, this show was recorded for a BBC radio broadcast. Although clearly this bootleg comes from a soundboard or FM source, there has been no bootleg of this show that we know of that claims to have come from a BBC archive tape. Sadly no other quality recording of this British tour exists.

It remains much loved by Stones fans. A reminder of “the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world”.
