It’s hard to beat Eric Clapton on a good night if you’re out for some rocking blues. In this much-lauded and much-circulated show, Clapton is in fine form, opening the concert with Layla – you just can’t miss once you hear the song’s introductory notes.

While there are other versions of this concert, this recording was recorded by Mike Millard, someone who has garnered a reputation among bootleg fans for his excellent sound. It’s hard to fault the crisp sound here which puts the listener right into the thick of the music.

Also includes guest appearances by Carlos Santana, Keith Moon and Joe Cocker.
